Since we launched MailChimp Snap last year, we’ve seen businesses of all sizes send compelling photo-based campaigns straight from their smartphones. And now we have a shiny, powerful new version to share with you.
Snap’s latest release introduces call to action buttons, social sharing, Quick Actions, and a slew of tweaks that’ll help you quickly connect with subscribers from your iOS or Android phone. Here are some of the updates we’re most excited for you to try out.
Do more with call to action buttons
Snap is great for telling your customers about special events and new product arrivals. With the new call to action button option, you can direct your customers to learn more, RSVP, or make a purchase right inside any campaign. Just drop in a bit of text and a URL, and you’ve just taken your Snap to the next level.
Expand your reach with social sharing
Not all your customers are into email, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to hear from you. Now, you can easily share your campaigns via Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks—right inside the Snap app. Now you don’t have to be in folks’ inboxes to keep them in the know.
Access Quick Actions with 3D Touch
For iPhone 6s users, Snap is now even easier to navigate. Using the new 3D Touch functionality, Quick Actions let you jumpstart your campaign when you know exactly what you want to send and who you want to send it to. Just touch and hold the app icon, select how to load your photo, and get to snappin’.
