We’ve opened an online store—Freddie and Co.
We wanted to understand the day-to-day lives of our e-commerce users, hopefully build some empathy and learn a few things. So Meg from our marketing team has been heading up the project and writing about her adventures in What’s in Store, an email series that chronicles her process.
Freddie and Co. collaborates with interesting MailChimp users to make cool, limited-edition products. We pair each company with an awesome nonprofit, sell the custom collection to you, and then donate the proceeds—every dollar.
Once a collection sells out, we’ll announce the next one.
Our first partner is Odd Pears, who designed just-for-us creative, patterned socks. They come 3 to a “pear,” in case you don’t feel like matching. We’re donating the first collection’s proceeds to Lost-n-Found Youth, a nonprofit here in Atlanta that works to provide housing for homeless LGBT youth.
