A little while ago, we created a feature called Account Keys. They’re really handy, for example, if you’re a web designer managing email marketing for a bunch of clients. Your clients would basically create their own MailChimp accounts, then grant you access with "keys." From your own account’s "keychain," you can easily jump into their accounts and manage things for them. If they want, they can revoke your key any time. It’s much better than managing passwords with little sticky notes all over your desk.
Anyway, last week we added a quick little security feature to Account Keys. Whenever a key is granted to somebody for your account, we’ll now send a quick email notification to the account owner:
