Big MailChimp API upgrade (this one’s for the geeks out there). Under your MailChimp List -> List Tools, there’s a new screen to configure “web hooks” that’ll help you keep your database synched with your MailChimp lists:
Since I have absolutely no idea what this means (I draw monkeys and I write stuff), I’m just going to point you to the MailChimp API documentation for webhooks now:

[...] syncing MailChimp, an email marketing tool used by the likes of Firefox and Media Temple, recently announced the addition of web hooks to their API. Their primary use-case is to keep your email list in sync [...]
The first link above results in a 404, and the suggested alternative gives *another* 404.
Fortunately, the second link seems to work.
Whoops. I spoke too soon. The second link is circular.
How do I create webhooks?
Howdy,
The links provided above do not work. I am really excited, but also confused about the Webhooks. Specifically regarding webhook URL’s.
Can the links above be fixed or even better, could some little post be written regarding webhook URL’s with examples?
I’m a glass half-full kind of guy.
Thanks!
Oops, the links broke when we ported our blog to a new location. I’ll fix them, but in the meantime, here’s more documentation:

Thanks Ben!
