If you’re copy-pasting your own code, then you’re in the wrong place. You’ll need to choose the option to “use your own code.” Then, you just plop all your code in, with the CSS. If you’re in our style editor, I think that means you’re using our built-in templates, in which case the CSS is already getting done for you. If you’re just talking about a simple chunk of inline styling within the editor, then hit the “Source” button in the WYSIWYG interface to switch to code view.

Thanks for this post. Can you tell me – where do you put the css within the template style editor in the campaign management area?

Just a couple of things to supplement your post.

Using the tag (although depreciated) to wrap around an image, works in most email clients and addresses the ones that strip out CSS.

Also, I recommend using the ALT & TITLE attributes as well to contain the same text as entourage doesn’t display the ALT tag but does display the TITLE tag where as others just display the ALT tag.
