Please build in a way to disable this feature. It is completely mangling the layout of our templates and campaign archive pages. Total dealbreaker for me.

while i appreciate the reason for this feature, with the general dominance of smart phones these days – iphone, android etc, the need to “crush” the email to a older mobile format is fairly redundant. This feature was introduced 1000 days ago, I think that its time that this was updated to simply show the standard email formating. As when i view the email on the iPhone it looks great, if i for some reason then click a link to the archive it looks terrible.

Either update mailchimps logics for screen res linking to the “mobile” version of the archive, or remove the “mobile” archive feature altogether.and just reroute to the standard archive.

I see where mailchimp is coming from, but this totally trashed my email layout. Any way to turn this feature off? My layout is already mobile friendly… doesn’t need to get hacked up.

While I appreciate the technology behind the auto-formatting feature, I think it’d be much more worthwhile if we actually were to say allowed to create 2 templates. One for the desktop & one for the mobile users; instead of taking the desktop & crushing it to fit into the mobile version.

You currently offer mobile templates, why not allow us to select 2 templates that gets hosted when we create a campaign? I’m not technically savvy, but wouldn’t it just be an issue of re-directing the links to point to their respective files i.e. desktop version & mobile version?

We’re unfortunately finding that the permanent link to be rather useless when it gets crushed & stacked for mobile viewing.

Can this option be turned of for a specific list of campaign? After going through the trouble of designing a great campaign our receipts are forced to view your version of our campaign on their devices – not too a great feature to force on us.

Agree that we need to be able to have some sort of editing power. Maybe just a couple of lines of CSS to adjust certain elements or at least being able to disable to automatic reformatting and have a link in the header or footer like there is now on the reformatted page back to the original page.

Does mailchimp available for Android ? I read that there’s chimpbot for Android, how is it different from mailchimp for iPhone ? if I sign up with Mail Chimp, the ability to monitor, manage campaigns via Android is very important for me, I don’t want a respository tool for Android, I need the running, active full version of Mailchimp for Android.

I read at this website that mailchimp already support blackberry devices. How to activated this feature? Should I install any program?

This feature basically takes the hosted (browser) version of your email campaign, then re-formats it to fit (and moves some stuff around) so it displays okay on mobile devices. It’s not an iphone only app or anything. Should be okay for a wide variety of phones with web browsers.
