I love the non-excess. There's a great book whose author I went to see last night. The name of the book is "Wired to Care". It is the whole idea of no excess and caring about the people who are your customers, identifying with them, giving them what they both want and need. I mentioned it felt like the old dot-com days when there were so many entrepreneurial people with innovative ideas running around, yet there wasn't any of the stupid excess from the old dot-com days.Dan mentioned it seemed "cool to be pragmatic" now, which was a nice observation.
