I can’t believe this, a well known site like mailchimp does not support Arabic.

At least gave us the ability to customize the code

Hi, I’m using the mailchimp api to send my campaigns, and I’ve selected the french language in a list setting.

When I create a campaign for this list through the api without adding the unsubscribe tag, mailchimp adds it for me… in an english sentence instead of a french one as I would have expected.

Is this a bug ? Are there workarounds ?

We’d love a french version of mailchimp, but it’s not in the near-term roadmap.

I work a lot with X-Cart which I provide full french translation and pre-configured software for french market.

X-Cart will integrate MailChimp Api directly into their software soon and a french version of MailChimp should be really welcome to provide it.

As you know french customer are not really confortable with english language, so do you have any timeline to transmit about french version availability ?

Hi Steve, Translating our entire application to other languages is a big undertaking, so will not be complete anytime in the near future. If you help French customers, you can setup their MailChimp signup forms, thank you emails, and everything that’s “customer-facing” to be French (or a bunch of other languages). Additionally, our campaign building interface supports just about any language (just not the “right-to-left ones”). If you want customers to have access to their stats and metrics, you can use our API to program a custom web page (in French) that displays all their reports for them.
