I agree-this email newsletter is nicely balanced. The information given, as well as the design presents a pleasing, easy to read email. Perfect for an email campaign to attract more business!
At my company we try to present as much information as possible without boring the readers, which can be challenging. However, we also side step with the design and incorporation of interactive elements, such as social media platforms.
Social media is a great way to further involve your clients. By encouraging them to follow you on Twitter, or comment on a blog post, you are not only selling your clients a product, but engaging them in the overall sales process as well.
Great example of a well put-together email campaign!

I just got a new idea from our conversation. We have many clients in other European countries who get our English newsletter. For them I will put the translate merge tag into the newsletter like you do. I never thought about the other countries, I was focused only in German and English languages…! Great service!

So I am looking forward to v4.3.3!

Has MailChimp been able to confirm that eepurl.com is shareable with the major social networking sites? I tried submitting this newsletter via the StumbleUpon button and the following was displayed:

We are unable to reach that website. Please try again later.

I then tried using the generic campaign archive URL and the same error was displayed.

That’s a beautiful email design, Jan!

Even though it’s in German, I was able to get the gist of what it says by clicking on the “translate” link in your archive toolbar. The toolbar is a great tool for international users, and is especially useful since you’re in the travel industry. On this topic, we’ll be launching more “international” features in MailChimp v4.3.3 this weekend.

Hi Ben,
thanks for this showcase. After the redesign of our web page we redesigned our newsletter last week as well. And it is so funny to see same elements here !
1. we use the Archive Toolbar too
2. as well the rounded corners
3. we are offering twitter, facebook and rss in the same way (!)
4. And we are using the social share icons in the side column
5. And we are offering the Archive on the side column as well
It is unbelievable…!
