OK, that is pretty cool but the vast majority of my list was imported so I have no IP based geolocation data for them.
Is there a way to impute that from zip codes? Or just use zips themselves? I notice that in Hairball I can segment by zip but it doesn’t seem possible to enter multiple values. If I could search based on ZIP=45238,45239,45220,… that would be clunky but OK so long as I could copy a zquillion zips into the search field.
Not so OK would be searching by matching ANY of the following ZIP=45238 + ZIP=45239 + ZIP=45220
Any thoughts? BTW, again, love the chimp. I recommend it constantly for for its abilities and attitude.
Hi Drew, In the MailChimp application you could actually do something very similar to what I previously described. If you’ve loaded your Zip codes into a Zip code type field you can actually enter 2 segment conditions. The first one would be Zip is within distance 200 miles of zipcode 12345. The second condition would be State is not ID (assuming you’ve also loaded states) and you should be all set.
